    I will always remember Rod Smith as a true professional. I was watching TV when Rod made his first catch as a Bronco, that game-winning bomb from John Elway against the Redskins, way back in the day. Many highly rated receivers came and went through the Broncos organization, but Rod always managed to stay focused on his job and perform at his best. We will miss you very much Mr. Smith. PS one of my treasured belongings is a picture otaken of Captain Bronco at FAN-FAIR at Invesco Field at Mile High with Rod Smith’s arm around the Captain’s cape !!!
